Zion's Kolob Canyons

On the way back to Cedar City, we stopped at the exit for Zion's Kolob Canyons.  We didn't know what to expect but we knew if Kolob Canyons was a part of Zion National Park it had to be two things:  magnificent and beautiful.

The below video gives you a better perspective.

From the overlook at the end of the road, we could see Nagunt Mesa (7,785 feet),

Timber Top Mountain (8,055 feet),

and Shuntavi Butte (6,995 feet).

From the overlook, we noticed more arches cut out in the canyon walls,

nature's etchings on the cliff face,

and run-offs that looked like white, black and red drips.

Yep, Kolobs Canyon is both magnificent...

and beautiful!
