San Diego Zoo Part Two

The San Diego Zoo had several animals we had never heard of like a Gerenuk,

a Bontebok,

and a Kudu.

We next came to the polar bear exhibit.  They were so cool!  :)

The adult male polar bear grows to an average height of 10 feet making the polar bear the biggest bear in the world.  And this is how much they eat...in one meal!  140 lbs. of seal!

Look at the size of their paws!

The polar bear exhibit was set up so you could see them both above the water and below the water.

After hanging out in the water, this polar bear got out and wanted to play...

...but the other polar bear just wanted to sleep!

Before leaving the Arctic area of the zoo, we saw one of Santa's reindeer.  I'm not sure if this was Donner or Vixen but it was definitely not Rudolph because he didn't have a red nose!  :)

After leaving the Arctic, we saw a Lowland Anoa,

a Warty Pig,

a Swamp Monkey,

and a Spot-nosed Guenon.

Then we saw an animal we recognized:  the hippopotamus!

As you can tell, I have left the audio on these videos.  Some of the kid's questions are precious and the parent's answers are even better!
