Babysitting Bell

We stayed in Nashville for about a month at Jellystone.  While we were in Nashville, we visited with friends and family, Chuck played a couple of rounds of golf and I got up caught up on some work.  I even went for a bike ride over to the Opry House one day while Chuck was playing golf.

Tafanie and Cory had asked us to babysit Bell during the last week of our stay in Nashville while they went on a mini-vacation to Myrtle Beach with Cory's brother and sister-in-law (Kyle and Allison).  All of this was coordinated with their move from Virginia to Atlanta and so we drove to Atlanta to pick up Isabella and then back to Nashville where she stayed with us in the motorhome.  Bell and I had a lot of fun on the ride back.

We stopped at Wendy's in Chattanooga where her Pa showed her how to dip her french fries in ketchup.

We visited GG several times during the week.

We don't have a high chair on the motorhome, but she managed quite well eating at the table...

...and reviewing some paperwork for us.  :)

One day, Bell and I took Pa to the golf course so we could have the car while he was playing golf.  She really liked the golf cart...

...and would have liked to have taken her Pa for a drive in it. :)

One day while Pa played golf, Bell and I went to Opry Mills Mall where Bell learned how to play the piano...

...and then out to eat for lunch and more ketchup.

After our few days of babysitting Bell, we said our good-byes to everyone in Nashville, packed up the motorhome, and drove to Atlanta separately so Bell could ride in her car seat in the car with me.  Bell did very well for such an unusually long drive to Atlanta.  There was a lot of traffic in Atlanta because of construction on I-285 so it took about 5 hours to get to Stone Mountain rather than 4 hours.

We stayed at Stone Mountain again but were only there for 2 weeks while we helped Tafanie and Cory get moved into to their new house.  Chuck's job was to help out Tafanie with the movers and setting things up.  My job was to take care of Bell.  :)

We explored her new backyard.

Picked up rocks around the deck.

Sat on the deck outside.

We also marched on the hardwood floors...

...and raced back and forth in the bedroom.

While everyone else was working hard with the move, Bell and I just had fun. :)

Grant's parents, Larry and Laura, were in Atlanta at the same time we were working on the nursery for Crystal and Grant's baby.  They did a great job!

Before heading to South Carolina for a couple of weeks, we all got together for dinner at our place at Stone Mountain.  Crystal and Grant brought New England stew and it was delicious.  We were eating outside on the deck that was at our campsite and noticed all the squirrels running around.  Tafanie had just asked if squirrels ever fall out of trees, and then BAM a few seconds later a squirrel fell out of a tree and almost landed in Crystal's lap.  Nearly scared her to death.  The squirrel laid there stunned on the deck for a few seconds and then ran off.  Well, I guess we found out the answer to that question:  squirrels can fall out of trees.
