Last Day With All Those Precious Girls

Tafanie brought Bell and Emmaline to the camper so they could spend the morning with us.  The first thing we did was go for a walk...

...but we couldn't go very far or to the playground because it was sprinkling rain.

When we got back to the camper, Bell and Pa colored for a little while.

Emmaline colored a little while too but she was more interested in the fishing game and the Uno cards.  Then, Bell and Pa played against Emmaline and me (mainly me) in Uno and they won both games.  Bell is getting old enough to enjoy playing games now.

By then, it was about time for lunch.  We had hot dogs, mac 'n cheese, and leftover baked beans.  We promised them they could have some homemade chocolate ice cream if they ate all their lunch and they ate every bite.

Like Bell, Emmaline licked her bowl clean today!  Emmaline kept saying "Yummy, yummy in my tummy!"  :)

We also played with a Play-doh toy where you could make all kinds of different jungle animals.  I think we had as much fun playing with it as they did!

Tafanie and Ruby got back to the motorhome around 1 pm.  Ruby is so cute you could just eat her up!

Her sisters think she is pretty cute too!

After Tafanie and the girls left, we began cleaning and getting ready for leaving tomorrow.  Since the weather forecast was for rain this evening and in the morning, we decided to go ahead and disconnect everything except the electric and pull the slides in.

We went over to Crystal and Grant's after they got home from work.  Avery showed us their vegetable garden that Krystle has planted in some pots on the back deck.

She showed me her gardening gloves...

...that she can wear when she is helping her mommy outside.

We played with the Play-doh with Avery and Hannah for a few minutes and then it was time for dinner and then time for bed.

Avery crawled up in my lap and gave me some good hugs.  :)

After the girls had gone to bed, Krystle and Kellen (Crystal and Grant's roommates) babysat Avery and Hannah while we went to dinner with Crystal and Grant.  We went to a Thai restaurant in Decatur,  It was the first time Chuck and I had eaten Thai food.  Chuck had "Earth, Wind & Fire" which had shrimp, vegetables and rice and I had "Drunken Noodles" which had wide Thai noodles and chicken and vegetables.  After dinner, we walked over to a new ice cream shop in Decatur called Butter & Cream and had a scoop of ice cream.  What a nice evening!

Wow!  That was a busy six days but it was so good to get to spend a few days with Tafanie & Cory and Crystal & Grant and our 5 precious granddaughters, Bell, Avery, Emmaline, Hannah & Ruby, before heading out west for 2 months.

Ken and Bonnie...here we come!
