A Walk on the Riverwalk & A Mexican Lupper

We started the morning with a 4+ mile on the Riverwalk.  Part of what we love about Travelers World RV Park is that the Riverwalk runs right beside the campground.

The river was quite a bit higher than when we had been here previously.

Being here in the spring, we were able to see lots of beautiful wildflowers along the walk as well.

There was a lot more water rushing down through the paddling canals now.

On our way back, we saw this turtle walking the Riverwalk too.

After we got back from our walk, we tried to get the car washed but the car wash we went through left it dirtier than it was when we went through.  Rrrr.  Probably is just as well.  It rained later that day and it would have just gotten dirty again.

On the recommendation of Ralph in the office, we went to the mexican restaurant across the street for a Mexican lupper.  Ken and Bonnie had the special of chicken enchiladas, Chuck had nachos, and I had the tacos.  They brought out three bottles of salsa:  red (medium), darker red (hotter), and green (even hotter).  The salsa comes in squirt bottles which actually makes it a little easier to put on your chips.

Ken and Bonnie said their meals were delicious, mine was very good too, and Chuck's was o.k. but he probably wouldn't order the nachos again.

After lunch, we drove to the north side of San Antonio to Costco to pick up a few things and then back to H-E-B (my favorite grocery store) to pick up some groceries.  H-E-B is my favorite grocery store because they have such a huge selection of produce and all their prices are very competitive -- sometimes lower than Wal-mart.

We got back together over at Ken and Bonnie's for games again.  The guys won at 5 Crowns, the girls won Skip-Bo and Sequence, and then the guys won Pinochle.  Everyone was winners and went to bed with winners tonight!
