After a 45 minute flight delay, an hour wait to pick up
their rental car, and about a 3 hour drive from Seattle, Crystal, Grant &
Avery safely arrived at our campsite around 8:30 pm. Avery was already asleep (it was 11:30 her
time) so we just gave her some night-night kisses as they tried to put her
straight to bed. But oh how she has
grown!
Picture of Avery right after we left Nashville in May (7
months old):
Picture of Avery (taken the next day) at almost 10 months old:
Crystal delivered a package to us from Isabella and Emmaline (Avery's cousins and our 2 other granddaughters). In the package were some new pictures for us to put up in the camper. The best picture was a life-size paper doll of Isabella. On the outside of the paper doll were the following instructions:
1. Unfold Isabella.
2. Wrap her arms around you.
3. Receive hug.
:)
So that's what we did:
Pa and MiMa love you, Isabella! Give mommy, daddy and Em a hug for us too!
After visiting for a little while, it was time for all of us to get some sleep because we had a big day ahead of us: day trip to Mt. Saint Helens!
