Part of the reason Crystal, Grant and Avery flew out was so
that we could babysit Avery over the weekend while they went to a wedding near
Mt. Hood. On Friday morning, Crystal,
Grant and Avery drove on toward Mt. Hood and did a little sightseeing along the
Columbia River while we drove in the motorhome back out to I-5, around
Portland, and out Hwy 26 to Mt. Hood RV Village Resort. As we went into Oregon, we could see Mt. Hood
off to the east.
Crystal, Grant and Avery met back up with us at the camper
for dinner. After dinner, they left for
the wedding but Avery stayed with us. :)
A motorhome is actually a pretty neat place for a 10 month
old. Avery played with her
"recycle" toys.
She is crawling and pulling up to everything now including
chairs,
the mirror,
and the couch.
She tried wearing her Pa's slippers,
but decided there were a little big for her.
"Come on, MiMa, let's play!"
The kitchen sink makes a great bathtub!
Avery adapted to life in the RV just fine...
...and we loved every minute of it!
