Silver River State Park

Today, we finally found Silver River State Park.  We took our bikes because we thought there was a bike trail in the park.

The bike trail was better suited to mountain bikes because it was not paved and had some sand in some places.

But overall it was a nice bike ride with some great views that we would not have seen had we not biked the trail.

At the end of the bike trail, Chuck read about the black bears that live in the area.

We rode through the campground on our bikes and took note of our favorite sites.  All of the campsites were big and level and could accommodate our RV.

The only problem is they didn’t have sewer and some of the sites were 30 AMP.  Other than that, it would be a great place to stay.
On our way out of the campground area, we discovered some very big pine cones.  We found this big pine cone:

And then we found the biggest pine cone we had ever seen! :)

We ended our bike ride by driving through the Cracker community, an old restored community, within the park:

and saw one of the original glass-bottom boats.
