On Wednesday, we left the campground around 8:30 and drove to the Hershey RV Show. Our first stop after entering the show was the Equity LifeStyle booth to make reservations for some of their campgrounds in Florida this winter. They offer deals on weekly and monthly rates but have an antiquated system of making those reservations. The clerks write the reservations down on a form and then 2 ladies enter the reservations in their system.
We have been able to tell over the last few years that the campgrounds in Florida are getting more crowded in the winter. We had to make a couple of changes to the campgrounds we had chosen because they were already booked up.
After leaving Equity Lifestyles, we walked around the vendor booths inside the auditorium and then walked outside looking at some of the new Winnebago motorhomes. While we were outside, I checked my email and realized that a mistake had been made on our campground reservations. We went back inside and had to make more changes to our reservations but after some assistance from one of the managers, I think we finally got it all straightened out.
We looked at the new Entegra motorhomes and then drove to a favorite nearby restaurant and met Neil and Nancy (who we have camped with at Pine Island) and Bonnie's sister and her husband, Cindy and John, for lunch. It was a delicious lunch and we enjoyed visiting and swapping RVing stories. :)
What fun days we have had meeting Ken and Bonnie's family and touring Lancaster County, Pennsylvania! Tomorrow, we leave Hershey and head to the coast of New Jersey!
