Easy Day at the Beach

We went back to the beach at Avalon on Wednesday.  It was a beautiful, sunny day but very windy so we had to set up our beach chairs back against the dunes to get out of the wind.

Everyone was enjoying reading or just relaxing at the beach or taking a nap.  

Sitting behind the fence, it looked like we were in "beach prison."  :)

A little later, we played a couple of games of bocce.  

The boys did well today and won both games handily.  Good job, guys!  

We left the beach around 4 and began getting ready for moving on to Lake George, New York, tomorrow.  After dinner, Ken and Bonnie and Fred and Dolores came over to our place for Sequence Dice and SkipBo.  While the tally of who won the most games for the week stayed with the women, we all were winners with a fun, fun week with great friends!  :)
