Back to Atlanta for a Couple of Weeks

After our busy month in Nashville, we headed back down to Atlanta on Wednesday, May 4th. The weather was beautiful and Monteagle Mountain had greened up nicely.

When we were in Atlanta a month ago, we had found a site that we really liked and were able to get it for our entire 2 week stay.

After getting set up, we headed over to Tafanie and Cory's that evening to babysit Bell, Emmaline and Ruby for a couple of hours.

They entertained us with some singing and dancing.

And then Pa entertained them by reading a book.

Or maybe I should say, Bell was entertained by his reading the book while Emmaline and Ruby were busy playing and tickling each other on the other end of the couch.  :)

We had lunch with Crystal on Thursday at Doc Chey's Noodle House and then I went for a walk after we got back from lunch.  The roses that were blooming were beautiful but you had to watch out for the thorns from the overgrown branches sticking out over the sidewalk.  I did find one golf ball along my walk.  Maybe I won't lose it too quickly when we get to play golf at Wanee in a couple of weeks.  :)

We walked just about every day that we were at Stone Mountain and found about 30 golf balls during our entire stay.  Hopefully, we won't lose that many when we get to Wanee!

Later Thursday evening, we went over to Crystal and Grant's for dinner and to visit them and Avery and Hannah for awhile.

On Friday, we went to Costco with Crystal, Avery and Hannah which is always an adventure and had a delicious lunch of hot dogs followed by dessert of ice cream all for the grand total of $7.71.  Where else can you feed 3 adults and two toddlers for $7.71?  Only at Costco!  :)  After unloading the groceries at Crystal's we headed back home to Stone Mountain.  On Friday night, I was in the mood for Mexican and talked Chuck into trying a Mexican restaurant just a little east of Stone Mountain called Fronterra Mexican Restaurant.  Chuck and I split an order of their nachos that was very good. Too good because we ate too much!
