A Weekend of Celebrations

We celebrated Hannah's birthday on Saturday with a birthday party at Stone Mountain Park Campground.

As we walked down to the playground, Avery met a dog that was as tall as she is...a Great Dane.

Our five little granddaughters had fun climbing, sliding, and crawling through the playground equipment.  Caution:  You may want to turn DOWN the volume.  Lots of joyful screaming ahead.  :)

It can be very challenging to get these busy little girls to sit still for a picture except when you find them hanging out under the playground equipment.  :)

Say "cheese!"
Now, everyone make funny faces!
After playing at the playground, we walked back to our campsite because it was time for Hannah to open her presents!

Pa and Ruby had fun blowing bubbles while Hannah was opening her presents.

We had a terrific birthday lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before singing Happy Birthday to Hannah...

...and eating some birthday cupcakes.

I think Hannah had a very happy birthday party!

The happy Robinson family!
Hannah and Avery had an even more fun afternoon back at home playing in their backyard pool.

After church on Sunday morning, the Robinsons and the Gregorys went over to the Van Wyngardens where we celebrated Mother's Day with a brunch prepared by Chef Grant.

After brunch, we all went to Coolray Field to watch the Gwinnett Braves play the Charlotte Knights.  The Gwinnett Braves are the farm team for the Atlanta Braves.

The stadium is very nice and Tafanie had gotten us seats in the shade which we all appreciated on this warm sunny afternoon...

...particularly when you are eating ice cream!

It was a fun afternoon watching the baseball game (which the Braves won) and watching the girls have fun too!

The best was saved for last when all the kids got to run the bases out on the field after the game.

Wow!  What a fun weekend full of celebrations!
