...and some beautiful leaves. It appears that the higher the elevation both here and in Vermont, the more leaf color changes we are seeing.
Mont-Tremblant means "trembling mountain" and the name was derived from the Algonquins who originally settled in the area. In 1939, the ski resort Mont Tremblant Lodge began operations with one lift and has grown into the European style resort it is today with almost 100 trails.
We walked into the village and got on the gondola to ride up the hill.
Little too cool for a pool today! :) |
A very nice miniature golf course. |
Of course, this time of year there is no snow but the resort has lots of other activities like hiking trails and zip lines.
We walked back down through the village of Mont Tremblant.
The entire village is beautifully landscaped.
After we finished exploring Mont-Tremblant, we rode to Morin-Heights to a multi-purpose trai called Corridor Aerobique.
We walked for a couple of miles along the beautiful old rail-trail. The trail is used as a biking and walking trail in the summer and a cross-country ski trail in the winter.
After our walk, we rode back to Ernie and Noela's. We played a game of Sequence Dice and since the men lost this game, Noela told them they had to go pick the peppers off her plants. :) Noela also had some tomatoes she had grown and they were so sweet and tasty.
We enjoyed another delicious meal that Noela had prepared of lasagna. It was so delicious! We even had seconds! :) After dinner, we played another game of SkipBo and then a couple of dice games and the guys finally won one of the dice games so we all got to go to bed with winners tonight! :)
Another great day in Quebec! :)
