Biking in Quebec

On Friday morning, we rode back to the park near the campground we had been to on Wednesday so we could go for a bike ride.  It was a little chilly so Noela loaned Ken, Bonnie and me some warm hats to wear.

Even though it was a little cool, the trees blocked a lot of the wind.

We stopped at these plants that sparkled in the sunlight.

Ken also thought this would be a great place for a group picture.

The photographer carefully balances his camera for the perfect shot!  :)
Great picture, Ken!
We rode along the trail and crossed over a suspension bridge to L'ile-aux-Chats.

The small island in the middle of the river had some cute houses on it.

Our granddaughters would love this castle playhouse!  :)

We rode around the island, back across the bridge and then down to the edge of the river...

and then headed back down the trail to where we started.

What a great morning for a bike ride!  At first, Bonnie and I thought we would get too cool, but with Noela's hats, we were plenty warm!

Ernie and Noela fed us lunch after we got back to their house before we had to say our good-byes and head back to Vermont.

We had no trouble whatsoever driving back through Quebec and our biggest slowdown was at the border crossing back into Vermont.

What a great trip!  Thank you, Ernie and Noela, for showing us around beautiful Quebec!  We had so much fun and are looking forward to more fun when you join us in Carrabelle!  :)
