Heading home to Nashville

After we left Rainbow Springs, we drove to Wildwood where we stayed for the weekend at Three Flags Resort, an Encore Park, before taking the coach to Alliance for service work.  Three Flags was on our Zone Pass so it only cost us $3 per night to stay there.

On Tuesday, we took the coach to Alliance and on Wednesday and Thursday morning, they worked on it and got all of the maintenance and service work completed on it.  Chuck was able to watch the guy working on it so he learned a lot more about where everything was.  I stayed in the waiting area and started working on the blog again.

They did everything there so that meant we would not have to get any maintenance work done after we got back to Nashville.

After we left Alliance, we drove back to Silver Springs for a couple of days where we were able to get the coach washed and waxed for a very reasonable price.  In addition, we sold the Porta-Bote to someone who called on the Craigslist ad.

We felt really good that we had gotten all the service work done on the motorhome, got it washed and waxed, and sold the boat.  We felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off us.

On our way back to Nashville, we stopped in Atlanta for a week to visit with the kids and grandkids.  Emmaline, Isabella and Avery had grown so much.

Bell likes to keep her sister Emmaline company...

...and showing Emmaline how to do "tummy time".

Avery was now almost sitting up by herself...

...and likes wearing her Pa's hat.

Bell still loves to slide at home...

...and on the big slide at Stone Mountain playground.

Mama flew into Atlanta for a few days.  This was her first time to see Emmaline....

...and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don't we have a beautiful family?

We headed back to Nashville on Monday, April 8th, and mama rode with us which was a special treat.

We stayed in Nashville at Jellystone for a month and managed to get all of our annual doctors visits and dentist visits in, see lots of friends and family, go to our niece's (Lauren Gregory) senior play,

eat a lot of mama's good home cooking,

and even made a quick trip back to Atlanta for a couple of days to see the kids and grandkids because we knew we would be heading west and it might be awhile before we would see them again.  Bell and I had fun with my camera...

...and she likes to color pictures with her Pa.

Emmaline and I played with my camera too.

Avery has changed some too.

She likes playing with her cousin Isabella.

It was a quick and busy month, but I think we got everything done we wanted to do before we began our journey westward.
